Community Supportive Services

Our Alliance is dedicated to eliminating unsheltered homelessness in Vermont.

Alliance Events & Training

See our calendar below to view upcoming meetings and training sessions.

Our CCHA Steering Committee meetings are open to the community. We welcome input from community members, especially those with lived experience of homelessness. We also welcome those who have worked or volunteered serving people who are homeless, employees of government agencies, representatives of the business community, members of religious and secular organizations, and others who want to make a positive difference in our community.

Besides our numerous committee meetings, our Community Meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month from 9:00-11:00 am in the Contois Auditorium at Burlington City Hall. All are invited to participate.

Advocacy & Awareness
  • The Homeless Alliance is committed to keeping its community informed about important developments in the realm of homelessness research and policy. By providing regular news updates, we aim to bridge the gap between the latest findings and the individuals who are impacted by these issues.

  • Our updates cover a range of topics, including innovative solutions to homelessness, changes in local and national policies, and emerging research that sheds light on the experiences of those facing homelessness.

  • By disseminating this information, we empower advocates, policymakers, and the general public to engage meaningfully with the challenges of homelessness and to support effective strategies for creating lasting change. Together, we can work towards a more informed and compassionate approach to addressing this critical social issue.
